Unlock our heritage through the new CKids (Chabad Children’s Network) Hebrew School Curriculum  - Israel Quest!  Embark on an adventure of a lifetime, exploring our history as Am Yisroel Chai! Discover our humble beginnings in Israel and the secret to our eternal strength.

Students will relive the journey of the Jewish People in the Land of Israel, from the time the Jews entered the land led by prophets and kings, until the untimely destruction of the Holy Temples. Discover the secret to our eternal survival with tools that were established to keep Judaism thriving in the Diaspora. Using educational tools such as VR, topography, theater, crafts, STEAM, and filmmaking, this experience is bound to capture the attention of each student. 

The curriculum is designed to generate a positive change in children by encouraging them to integrate Torah, Mitzvot and Holidays into their lives.  Children will have the passion and knowledge to live according to our heritage by internalizing the lessons and skills they learn.  Upon completion of this course the student will have developed methods to proudly live Jewishly and to create change in the world around them.

Areas of academic emphasis include:

• History of Jews in the Land of Israel
• Hebrew reading and vocabulary
• Holidays and traditions
• Culture and current events

This course engages children in discovering the higher purpose of everyday lifestyle, and gives them the tools to practically implement their inspiration. It is our school-wide program, offering content and activities geared towards the different age groups.

CKIDS CLUBS

CKids Clubs are insider events that get children innovating with fun, new mediums and skill sets. Featuring the Jewish “BIG 3”: Pride, Heritage & Identity.  CKIDS CLUB features the freshest and most exciting events, empowering kids to tap into their talents and interests, while connecting to their own Jewish identity and impact. ALEPH CHAMP

For our hebrew reading progam we will be using an innovative, cutting edge reading system. Based on the martial arts motivational philosophy of color coded levels and testing, the Aleph Champion Program provides motivation and inspiration for Chabad Hebrew School students around the world.

Easily attainable levels and professional materials make Aleph Champ an incredible success. The Hebrew alphabet as well as the vowels and word formations were divided into 10 colored levels. The students start out as "White Aleph Champs", working their way up the colors of the rainbow to be a "Black Aleph" like their teachers.

Aleph Champ helps the children set goals, learn at their own pace, and brings Hebrew Literacy to life.

HEBREW LANGUAGE

We look forward to introducing the Hebrew language as part of our curriculum—starting with one phrase per week and gradually building up over time. This gentle, consistent approach helps children develop familiarity and confidence with the language in a natural and enjoyable way.

HOLIDAYS AND SHABBAT

Lessons on Shabbat and on each Jewish holiday will fill the calendar as we travel through the year from Rosh Hashanah through Shavuot. Students will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of each holiday and its associated traditions, customs and life’s lessons. Music, drama, art and food are some of the exciting and interactive mediums that are used when teaching the holidays.

MITZVOT & JEWISH VALUES 

Beginning with the origins of the mitzvot, stressing practical applications in our daily lives, our students will explore a personal Jewishness.  
At Chabad Hebrew School, we believe that Judaism is a holistic experience, involving the whole child, at all times. We therefore include in our curriculum special activities which allow our students to bring home the concepts they are learning in Hebrew School and to experience them fully.
